We would be honored to provide you with an unforgettable and adventurous circuit from Nairobi to Maralal to Reteti Elephant Sanctuary and to Shaba National Reserve & Buffalo Springs National Reserve from 21st to 23rd October 2022. 

We have prepared an entire weekend of activities including a Shaba National Reserve & Buffalo Springs National Reserve safari, a customary photography stop at the scenic Mt Ololokwe, a visit to the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary, and a guided hike through Kirisia Forest (on request for KES 1,000 – this is not included in the package cost), among others. 

RETETI ELEPHANT SANCTUARY

Reteti Elephant Sanctuary houses and cares for young elephants. A partnership between Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy, Samburu County Government, Kenya Wildlife Service, Northern Rangelands Trust, San Diego Zoo, Conservation International, Tusk Trust, The Nature Conservancy and Save the Elephants, together with several individuals support the operations of the sanctuary. The Kenya Wildlife Service and Samburu County Government have promoted the establishment of the new Sanctuary, recognizing the wish of the local community to retain their elephants within Samburu County and seeing local communities taking a lead in rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing elephants within their home range.

MT OLOLOKWE

Located in the vast and scenic Northern region of Kenya, Mt Ololokwe is one site that paves way for the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises. 

SHABA & BUFFALO SPRINGS NATIONAL RESERVES

Samburu County is home to a variety of wildlife which includes the Gravy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Giraffes, Leopards, Cheetahs, Buffalos, Lions, and vibrant birdlife. Shaba Hills gives a rewardable view of the park’s scenic landscape. Buffalo Springs National Reserve is a protected area in Isiolo County. It offers good viewing of most big safari animals.

KIRISIA FOREST

Offering a Grand Samburu Tribal Trek. You will track along traditional Samburu paths and settings, together with a local Samburu guide. This Samburu Tribal Trek includes a hike into Kirisia Forest, where wild elephants still roam freely. In Kirisia Forest you will visit the Singing Wells and meet Samburu herders with their livestock. After this hike, you will come back to Ngari Hill Ecolodge. NB: This activity charges KES 1,000 per person and is not included in this Anakin Adventures package. 1. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made less than 14 days to the agreed service date will be subject to a 50% charge.
• 24hrs prior and No shows will be subject to a 100% charge.

Any amendments to the booking are required and should be communicated at least 14 days prior to the departure date.

2. Payments and deposits

• A deposit placement is mandatory for confirmation of services.
• Payment Plan to guarantee Services:

• Deposit of 25% of the total costs at the moment of booking.
• Another 25% of the total cost latest 14 days prior service date.
• Remaining 50% latest 24 hours prior to service date.

The company shall not be liable for any loss either in part or in full for booked services due to failure to adhere to the above terms.

3. Variation in rates

Anakin Adventures may alter the rates in writing in case of changes in park entrance fees, ticket prices, other levies, and taxes. Once you have booked a service and we have confirmed the booking, the rates are fully guaranteed and will not be subject to any surcharges.
